The 26th Arab Summit entitled "70 years of joint Arab action" has kicked off Saturday in Sharm El Sheikh, headed by Egypt's President Abdel Fatah Al Sisi. President Al Sisi welcomed the Arab monarchs and presidents who gathered in the Red Sea resort Sharm El Sheikh, to discuss the recent developments across the Arab world, especially in Yemen, Libya, Syria, Palestine and Lebanon. Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz, Kuwaiti Emir Jaber Al Sabah, Qatari Emir Tamim bin Hamad, and 11 other prominent leaders were among the attendees. The summit will address forming a joint Arab military force to combat terrorism and preserve the region stability. Sources affirmed that Sisi and Tamim will conduct a meeting, sponsored by King Salman and Emir Jaber on the sidelines of the summit, to resolve the ongoing disputes between Egypt and Qatar, over Doha's objection to February's Egyptian air strikes against the Islamic State in Libya.
