Yemeni President, Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi, arrived in Sultanate of Oman Thursday, accompanied by Yemeni chief of intelligence, Ali Al Ahmadi, Sky News Arabia claimed, with no confirmation from Yemeni officials. Global and local media reported Wednesday that the western-backed president fled his residency in Aden on a warplane to an unknown place, accompanied by the Saudi diplomatic mission which suspended its work in Aden. An Arab coalition including 10 Arab countries and led by Saudi Arabia, launched airstrikes against the Houthi militants in Yemen, who seized the power on late January, earlier Thursday, aiding the legitimate president to restore his power over the capital, Sanaa. Houthi warplanes have raided the presidential residency in Aden recently. Mansour fled from his house arrest in Sanaa to Aden in February, declaring it to be the new capital of power.
