Forces loyal to former Yemeni President, Ali Abdullah Saleh seized control of Aden International Airport on Wednesday, according to airport officials. Sources who asked to remain anonymous told Albawaba News that Pro-Saleh forces asked the workers to leave the airport in order to close it for security reasons. Yemen has witnessed vicious clashes between Houthi fighters and national forces allied with President, Abd rabbuh Mansour Hadi, which sparked chaos across the country. Houthis have participated in the Yemeni demonstrations that overthrew former President Ali Abdullah Saleh in 2011. They took part in the National Dialogue Conference February 2014, which called for turning Yemen into a federation of six regions.
