Islamic Jihad leader, Mohamed Abu Samra told Al Bawaba News Saturday that 50% of Islamic factions' young supporters, especially those of Sheikh Hazem Salah Abu Ismail will join Islamic State (IS). Abu Samra said that Islamic factions' young supporters declared their support to IS and will openly declare their support and join the group as soon as it asks them to. He explained that Muslim Brotherhood (MB) terrorist group abandoned its young supporters, which pushed them to hate the group, especially after the group opted to call for the US' intervention to resolve the crisis between the MB and President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi, and reach reconciliation. Furthermore, he predicted that the coming period will witness a wide Islamic Jihad activity, pointing out that the young supporters pledge to IS will not only be individually, but also collectively. The Islamic Jihad leader stressed that the young supporters reject any political solution presented by the MB or Al Sisi's regime, as they see "the regime as infidel and fighting against it is a duty in the coming period."
