The Gaza-based and MB-affiliated movement, Hamas, promised the Egyptian authorities to blockade Jihadists inside the Sinai Peninsula, on the borders with the Gaza Strip, to enable Egyptian security to arrest them, sources close to Hamas told Al Bawaba News. The sources affirmed that Hamas was seeking to restore relations with Egypt by stopping their support to Jihadists in Sinai. An Egyptian Court designated Hamas as a terrorist organization February 2015, but the government appealed the verdict, to be ruled on March 28.
