Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said in a speech at the opening ceremony of the Military Technology Center in Ankara on Wednesday, that the war against Syria aims to confront the Turkish state. He also added that Western support to the Syrian President, Bashar Al-Assad aims to destroy his country Turkey. Erdogan pointed out that Islamic State jihadist group has been created to execute a Western plan to destroy Turkey, adding that there is another plan that aims to link Muslims with terrorism. "Although we were not able to resolve Syrian crisis, but we thwarted this plan through the support of victims", Erdogan said. Erdogan stressed that his country will continue to support the diplomatic efforts in order to resolve the crisis in Iraq and Syria. "If we didn't support the diplomatic effort by the use of military force, we will not get the desired result", Erdogan added. The Turkish President added that Muslims in the eyes of the West are the Muslims who live in Turkey, saying that his country is the first target that the west would attack in the attack on Muslims.
