Italian Prime Minister, Matteo Renzi described Egypt Economic Development Conference held in Sharm Al Sheikh (EEDC) a great historic opportunity that that his country should not have wasted to cooperate with the Arab region through Egypt. Renzi said in his speech in the conference that Italy must be a bridge between Europe and the Middle East as Egypt is the bridge between the East and Europe. He pointed out that his country will increase its investments in Egypt, adding that all Italian investors realized the development of the Egyptian economic. The Prime Minister said that he appreciates the role of the President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi especially in the Libyan crisis, adding that his country supports Egypt in its fight against corruption and terrorism.
