U.S. Secretary of State, John Kerry expressed his gratitude to participate in the Egypt Economic Development Conference held in Sharm Al Sheikh , adding that President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi's initiative emphasizes the role of Egypt in the region. Kerry added that huge companies in USA participate in the economic conference, pointing out that the American people support Egypt to achieve economic development. "We are all meeting here as we have interests in the success of Egypt", Kerry said. He added that USA has provided $300 million to support Egypt during the last period, pointing out that President Al-Sisi is playing an important role in the reformation process in Egypt. Kerry confirmed that his country will work with Egypt in order to achieve economic developments in various sectors, saying that the United States knows the importance of the development of the Egyptian economy. Earlier today, Kerry met with president Al-Sisi, Jordan's King Abdullah and Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas to discuss the latest developments of Middle East peace process.
