Military forces killed Thursday seven jihadists and wounded two others in a wide range military operation targeting terrorists' hideouts in northern Sinai, according to security reports. Two militants were wounded after military forces opened fire at them while planting an explosive package in Sheikh Zuweid, causing the package to explode, leaving the militants severely injured; meanwhile, two other militants fled the scene on a motorcycle. On a related note, the forces destroyed 15 houses and confiscated seven vehicles and motorcycles belonging to jihadists in northern Sinai.
