Mohamed Ben Zayed .. Man for Hard Times
Published in Albawaba on 11 - 03 - 2015

Arab Emirates had the option to desert the 'complicated scene' during the ousted terrorism Brotherhood rule. While some in Washington, Doha and Ankara laid heavy bets on long years for this rule, yet Nahayan family chose to risk its relation with the 'Brotherhood state', because it realized that 'Egyptian people' reject that rule of tyranny. They chose to side up with the people of Egypt, as people are to remain, while ruling systems are timed.
Now identifying Egyptian true allies has become easy. All you need to know who this terrorism group does antagonize; these are true allies of Egypt. Those considered enemies by the Brotherhood are the actual friends of Egypt.
The following is a deeper view.
His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Ben Zayed, the Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces in the UAE, played the most vital role in support of Egypt prior and after 30 June. He then made his choice and announced his status from the start. In doing so, he became prime enemy to the Brotherhood and other extremist organizations supporting them, in the whole Arab Region.
Ben Zayed inaugurated confrontation with the terrorist group thus becoming the most important shovel for demolishing their project from the region and the world. He did put his own life on the line when he realized their true goals. He was able to uncover 'Brotherhood tricks' and all their attempts to subdivide the region. He was not deterred for even a moment to defend his Arab nation against the 'barbaric Brotherhood' attack. Alone he bore the burden of confrontation under very hard conditions, where Brotherhood was in control of the largest Arab nation, Egypt.
So what is it that made Mohamed Ben Zayed do all that?
Crown Prince did not lose, for even a fraction of a second, his belief that Egypt will rid itself of Brotherhood rule, sooner than later. From that belief he made the firm decision not to cooperate with them, or receive their leaders in the Emirates. "No red carpets awaited Morsi', as expressed by Dhahi Khalfan former Dubai Police Chief.
At the time of the Brotherhood rule, there were many things that happened back stage. Among these was that the MB deputy Guide (Murshid) Khairat Al Shater has visited Emirates for what the Brotherhood considered a 'new page' with them. Khairat remained in his hotel room for three days without meeting with any responsible figure. He returned to Cairo accompanied failure.
At that time Brotherhood ventured to begin a new strategy. Their new plan was to implant 'dormant cells' in Emirates. However the alertness of the security agencies made them prepare for that. The largest group of Brotherhood were seized, and presented to court. Many pleas were made by Morsi for Emirates to free them, but Emirates refused, and did not even answer return his calls.
Also, when Morsi's Foreign Affairs Assistant Essam Al Haddad travelled to Emirates hoping to see any of the accused of 'Brotherhood cell', authorities rejected his request, and he was told that "our judicial system is independent".
Now Mohamed Ben Zayed completes what he started earlier, by participating in the 'dream conference' at Sharm El Sheikh. He arrived to Cairo spear heading a top envoy thus sending a comforting message to the whole world. A message that Egypt is secure, and its economy is promising for a very rapid revival.
Egypt shall never forget this position of honor at the hard time that his Highness Mohamed Ben Zayed firmly took. We take honor welcoming your Highness in your second country thanking all the people of Emirates.
