Security source told Al Bawaba News that the reason behind the explosion of October 6 pipeline was a remote detonated bomb, planted under the pipeline in Bashayer district. Two huge explosions took place in the main natural gas pipelines of Tenth and Eleventh districts in October 6 city, during the early hours of Friday, but there have been no casualties reported. With regard to the residents' safety, police forces closed the main gas pipeline and evacuated homes near the scene of the explosion.
