56 ISIL terrorists killed in southern Tikrit

On Monday, a source within the Iraqi Volunteer Forces (also known as al-Hashed al-Sha'bi) said, The security forces attacked the Islamic State of Iraq and Levant terrorists' sites in southern Tikrit on Tuesday.
Security source stated to BBC "The security forces killed 56 ISIL terrorists including ISIL leader of Samarra city. Forces spokesman said that a force from the paramilitary group has managed to free 13 policemen from ISIS capture in eastern Tikrit.
The Iraqi Volunteer Forces spokesman said in a statement released by Al-Iraqiyah TV channel, "Elements of the Iraqi Volunteer Forces (also known as al-Hashed al-Sha'bi) have managed to free 13 hostages from the local police elements, who were previously taken as captives by the ISIS group militants in a residential area, located in eastern Tikrit."
