President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi arrived Sunday to King Khaled's airport in the Saudi Arabia capital, Riyadh, where King Salman bin Abdul Aziz welcomed him. The Saudi King, governor of Riyadh, Prince Faisal bin Bandar, Egypt's ambassador to Saudi Arabia and top Egyptian diplomats welcomed the president to Riyadh. Spokesperson for the presidency, Alaa Youssef announced that the official reception ceremony was held and the national anthems of the two countries were played. Youssef said the president shook hands with senior Saudi officials and that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, king Salman escorted Al Sisi to the Royal Palace for bilateral talks behind closed doors, which were followed by an expanded session of talks attended by delegations of the two countries.
