President Abdel Fatah Al Sisi left Cairo to Saudi Arabia early Sunday, in his first official visit to the Gulf state since King Salman bin Abdel Aziz took the office in January. Al Sisi will meet with King Salman, the Crown Prince Muqrin bin Abdel Aziz, and the deputy crown prince Muhammad bin Nayef bin Abdel Aziz, for talks over the political and economic relations between the two countries, the recent regional affairs, including the conflict in Yemen and its impact on the security of Gulf countries and the Red Sea. Al Sisi denied any disputes between Egypt and Saudi Arabia, affirming that relations between the two countries are still on the same level of closeness and deepness, in an interview with Al Arabiya channel on Saturday. He commented on the timing of his visit, which coincides with the visit of Turkey's Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, saying that Saudi Arabia maintains its foreign relations with the whole world.
