Egypt's president Abdel Fattah al-Sisi will visit Saudi Arabia on Sunday to meet the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and discuss recent developments of the regional security isuues. The visit will be the first official one since Saudi monarch Salman was sworn in as the 7th King of neighboring Saudi Arabia last January. Presidency spokesperson Alaa Youssef said that Sisi's visit aims to boost the special bilateral ties between the two countries in all the fields especially the economic and political matters. Youssef added that the two leaders will also discuss the deteriorated situation in Yemen and the necessity of setting a political dialogue between the rival sides to avoid anticipated threats on the Red Sea and Arab Gulf. The coming session of the Arab League will be the main topic on the agenda of the visit especially since the current situation in Syria and Iraq has been worsening, requiring all Arab states to cooperate to face the growing challenges in the Arab region, Youssef stated.
