Islamic State (ISIS) militants have kidnapped 220 Assyrian civilians over the past three days from 11 villages in the Tal Tamir countryside, Al-Hasakah province in Syria, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR). ISIS controls 10 Assyrian villages in the Tal Tamir area, in which there were fierce clashes between ISIS militants and Kurdish fighters of the People's Protection Unit (YPG).
