Egypt's Prime Minister, Ibrahim Mahlab met Wednesday with his Libyan counterpart, Abdallah Al Theni for talks over cooperation between the two countries in counter terrorism policies. A high level Libyan delegation, including the minister of justice, the minister of education, the military attaché and led by Al Theni arrived in Cairo Wednesday to meet with Egyptian top officials for talks over bilateral ties, the crisis in Libya and boosting cooperation between the two neighboring countries in fighting terrorism. The visit comes in the wake of the United Nation Security Council's meeting on Wednesday upon an official Egyptian Libyan request to discuss lifting the ban on arming the Libyan army, which is applied since 2011.
