Iraqi security forces killed Monday 28 IS militants in the province of Al Anbar during operations to liberate Al Baghdadi district. Security and local Iraqi sources said that the forces killed 12 IS militants during a military operation in Al Anbar, adding that another 16 were killed during assaults on governmental buildings in Al Baghdadi. They pointed out that dozens IS militants fled without resistance, adding that the targeted buildings suffered damage due to explosions. Since February 12, Al Baghdadi district witnessed intense clashes between the Iraqi forces and IS militants, leaving dozens dead and wounded.
