The Grand Mufti of Egypt, Shawky Allam met with Italy's ambassador in Cairo Maurizio Massari on Tuesday to discuss the Egyptian Dar al-Iftaa's role to correct the religious speech across the world. Allam said that Dar al-Iftaa contributes to enhancing the religious discourse and expanding religious awareness in ten languages to establish a culture of respecting law and collaborating for the public interest. The Italian ambassador praised the efforts of Dar al-Iftaa to disseminate the correct approach of the Islamic religion in the Western media, noting that the world expects much from the Al-Azhar's scholars who face the growing tide of extreme thoughts in the world. The Mufti gave the Italian Ambassador a copy of Dar al-Iftaa's new book in English which exposes the ideological structure of the terrorist organizations.
