Spokesperson of Egypt's foreign ministry, Ambassador Badr Abdel Aaty condemned Tuesday the execution of captured Jordanian pilot Moaz Al Kasasbeh by IS militants. Abdel Aaty expressed Egypt's strong denouncement of what he called the barbaric act which contradicts with the values of Islam, and all the divine laws which incite compassion, and treasure the sanctity of life. He confirmed that Egypt stands in solidarity with the Jordanian people and leadership against terrorism, stressing on Egypt's determination to unite with Jordan and the international community against terrorist groups like IS. The Islamic State (IS) released photos Tuesday purportedly showing the execution of captured Jordanian pilot Moaz Al Kasasbeh, who was captured in December after his F-16 fighter jet crashed in territory controlled by IS in Syria.
