3 bombs defused, 4 soldiers wounded in the wake of Arish attacks

Bomb disposal officers defused Saturday two explosive packages found inside a car targeting Matay Police station in Minya.
Security forces received reports from the driver about two explosive packs planted inside his car by masked gunmen, who then ordered him to drive to the police station in order to detonate the bomb.
North Sinai security forces remotely detonated a bomb targeting a military convoy in Masaeed, western Arish, no casualties were reported.
A soldier was shot and wounded by unidentified militants, while on duty in central Sinai, according to the Aswat Masriya news website.
Security sources confirmed that the 24 year old soldier was rushed to Agrood hospital in Suez to receive the necessary treatment, after he was shot in the left leg at his post in Al Qassima district, Al Hasna City in the center of Sinai.
The ISIS-affiliated extremist group, Wilayat Sina (Sinai Province), has claimed responsibility for the deadly attack targeting military bases in Arish, North Sinai on Thursday, which left at least 25 killed and 36 injured, including military personnel and civilians.
