Ghana won Tuesday its final match in group C against South Africa 2-1 to advance to the quarterfinals of 2015 African Cup of Nations held at Equatorial Guinea. Mandla Masango opened the score for South Africa in minute 17 of the match, while John Boye scored a tie for Ghana in minute 73 followed by André Ayew's winning goal 10 minutes later to secure victory for his country. Ghana's victory puts it second in the group, after Algeria won its match against Senegal 2-0. On Wednesday, Cameroon will play against Cote d'voire and Guinea will meet Mali in group D's final match, the teams are believed to have equal chances to progress to next stage.
