Al Bawaba News reported that Muslim Brotherhood (MB) supporters clashed Sunday with police at Matria in Cairo. MB supporters have barricaded the entrance to Al-Rahman mosque to prevent security forces from moving against them. They also started a fire before the mosque and gathered around it at the Isha Prayer, but none of them joined the prayer. Spokesman for Ministry of Interior, Hani Abdul Latif told Al-Hayah TV channel that the most intense clashes that took place in today's MB rallies in the fourth anniversary of 25th January revolution are at Matria. MB supporters are setting up tents at Matria Square in preparation for a sit-in, despite police attempts to disperse them. Today's clashes at Matria and Ain Shams have left four members of the security forces dead during attempts to disperse MB supporters, according to ministry of interior. MB called upon its supporters to protest against the government in the fourth anniversary of 25th January revolution, despite the cancelation of celebrations of the anniversary out of respect for Saudi Arabia, who its ruler King Abdullah passed away recently.
