President Abdel-Fattah el-Sisi on Saturday arrived in Riyadh to offer condolence on the death of Saudi Arabia's King Abdullah bin Abdel-Aziz. El-Sisi was received by Prince Turki bin Abdullah bin Abdel-Aziz, prince of Riyadh. Grand Imam Ahmed At-Tayeb, minister of interior Mohamed Ibrahim, minister of endowments Mokhtar Gomaa and minister of foreign affairs Sameh Shoukry accompanied As-Sisi in his visit. The president is heading a group of Egyptian officials accompanying him including Ahmed el-Tayeb is the Grand Imam of al-Azhar, Mokhtar Gomaa Minister of endowment(Awqaf), sameh Shokry Minister of foreign affairs, and Mohamed Ibrahim minster of interior President Al-Sisi was keen to attend the funeral prayer of King Abdullah on Friday, but the distance between Switzerland, where he was attending the World Economic Forum in Davos, as well as the bad climate conditions prevented him from attending it. King Abdullah was born on August 1924, becoming the King of Saudi Arabia and Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques since August 2005. He has been one of the largest supporters of Egypt following the ouster of former President Mohamed Morsi.
