Egypt's President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi just addressed the Davos World Economic Forum in Switzerland, on the economic reform program adopted by Egypt to regain its economic position in Africa and the Middle East. "We have a comprehensive vision of economic and social development that aims to secure Egyptians' rights to a suitable work and decent life through exploiting the enormous potentials of the Egyptian economy," Sisi said. He added that Egypt has great human resources representing more than "two-third of the Egyptian population," noting that applying such reforms requires supporting the private sector and attracting more investments. Sisi also chaired a closed meeting on violence and terrorism in the presence of more than 40 state leaders including Chinese premier Li Keqiang, French president François Hollande and German chancellor Angela Merkel. Meanwhile, Egyptian President's accompanying delegation met with a number of state officials and investors to discuss their participation in the Sharm Al-Sheikh economic summit set to be held in March.
