Speaker of Arab Parliament, Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Jarwan described President, Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi's visit to the United Arab Emirates as "historic". Al-Jarwan praised Al-Sisi's visit to UAE and attending future energy conference, despite of the current circumstances in which the Arab world is going through. He said: "Bilateral relations between the two countries extend throughout history and is characterized by its solidarity via cooperation in various political, economic and social fields in support of Arab national security's interests." He stressed that the relations between the two countries are an ideal example for all Arab states to follow. According to State Information Service website, Egyptian- UAE relations date back to 1971, as Egypt has close ties with the UAE based on common interests, believing in the importance of the stability of the two States. The UAE also realized the importance of Egypt, when former President of UAE Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan taking his historic decision in the October 1973 war to support the national battle until the last fils in his treasury, saying his famous word " Arab oil is not dearer than Arab blood". UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum affirmed the importance of the role and the stability of Egypt, as "the pulsing heart of the Arab nation." The UAE support to Egypt since the June 30 Revolution increased the Egyptian State's capability to stand up to internal and external challenges and to combat terrorism.
