Head of European Union Delegation to Egypt, Ambassador James Moran said Sunday, an EU delegation will monitor Egypt's parliamentary elections, as part of the EU support for the Egyptian road map. Moran stated that the European Parliament works independently, and the remarks issued during its meeting do not represent the European Union's foreign policies. Moran denied any connection between the EU and funding the renaissance dam in Ethiopia, stressing that the EU is ready to mediate a diplomatic initiative to solve the recent tension between Egypt and Ethiopia.
