Criminal Court resumes "Port Said massacre" trial

Newspaper Youm7 reports that the Port Said criminal court will resume the retrial of the "Port Said Massacre" Sunday.
The court is retrying 73 defendants accused of killing 74 al Ahly fans during a match between al Ahly and al Masry club in Port Said stadium in February 2012.
The defendants include nine security officers, three al Masry administrators, and fans of the al Masry club.
In January 2013, the court sentenced 21 defendants to death and others to varying prison terms. In February 2014, the cassation court ordered a retrial for 62 of the defendants.
