Ministry of Defense official website uploaded Saturday a video of military operations in northern Sinai, in which armed forces succeeded in eliminating a number of terrorist outposts. The video revealed the armed forces' efforts to spread security and stability in northern Sinai, in order to protect and preserve the Egyptian national security. Furthermore, the video illustrated the armed forces' continuous and tireless efforts to seize control of strategic areas in El-Arish, Rafah, and Sheikh Zuid. The military forces appeared in the video raiding and combating terrorist groups in those areas. The video also shown images of dead and detained terrorists during the military raids, which helped discover heavy weaponry and large quantities of ammunition at terrorist nests in El-Arish, Rafah, and Sheikh Zuid. The army destroyed two field hospital, four farms, 30 cars without a license, and 61 motorcycles belonging to terrorist cells. The armed forces succeeded in seizing narcotics, including three tons of marijuana and 90 thousand tablets Tramadol drug.
