Germany declares its support to Iraq in war against terrorism

The Speaker of the Iraqi Parliament, Salim Al-Jabouri welcomed Sunday Germany`s minister of defense Ursula von der Leyen to discuss ways to counter terrorism.
Al-Jabouri stressed in a press conference on his country's keenness to continue the joint cooperation in combating terrorism and that Iraq is in urgent need to increase the military weapons and equipment to eliminate terrorism. He mentioned that Germany has an important role to play in boosting his country's military weapons and equipment.
On the other hand, Von Derlaan confirmed that Germany seeks to strengthen the mutual interests between both countries.
