Hacker group Anonymous announced Friday its intention to shutdown extremists' websites as retaliation for Paris' attacks. The group released a video, which was uploaded to the group's account at its headquarters in Belgium and a statement on its Twitter account condemning Charlie Hebdo's attacks that left 12 dead, saying: "freedom of expression has suffered an inhuman assault ... and it is our duty to react," Also, the group issued a message for Al-Qaeda, the Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant, and other terrorist groups, threatening: "We are declaring war against you, the terrorists". A person wearing "Vendetta" mask appears in the video threatening terrorist groups of terminating their social media accounts and websites. Anonymous is a group of activists and hackers who claim to defend and protect democracy. In the past the group has hacked into government, religious, and corporate websites.
