Security forces thwart attempted bank robbery

Security forces arrested 4 gunmen Sunday in Cairo following gunfire exchange in an attempted bank robbery north of the city.
Security sources said the assailants opened fire on a police checkpoint, and fled the scene. Police quickly controlled the situation and made the arrests.
Assailants were escorted to the police station for questioning.
