Egypt's Minister of Foreign Affairs Sameh Shoukry met Thursday his Algerian counterpart Abd el-Kader Messahel, according to the ministry's statements. During the meeting, the ministers discussed bilateral relations between the two countries in addition to number of regional issues, including political and security developments in Libya and ways to restore security and stability there. Shoukry stressed on Egypt supporting legitimate institutions in Libya, and the importance of engaging in political dialogue away from the use of weapons. They agreed on rejecting foreign intervention in Libya's affairs and emphasized on the unity of Libyan territory.
