Foreign Affairs Minister, Sameh Shoukry, met on Wednesday Cypriot President Nicos Anastasiades during his current visit to the Cypriot capital, Nicosia, according to the ministry's statement. Shoukry held meetings with number of Cypriot officials to discuss boosting bilateral ties between both countries in various fields, in addition to studying the mutual interests. Anastasiades stressed that his country completely supports Egypt in its war against terrorism. Egypt's Foreign Minister also held a meeting with his counterparts from Cyprus and Greece. The ministers agreed to develop cooperation between the three countries to achieve stability in eastern Mediterranean region based on rules and principles of the international law. During the meeting Shoukry said that the relations between Egypt, Greece and Cyprus witnessed intensified collaboration in different fields, pointing out the historical relations between the three Mediterranean countries.
