"Janoub" exhibition for the artist Ihab Loutfy at the Doroub Hall From: Sunday 14 January 2015 at 7 pm until 25 January 2015 Gallery opened from Saturday to Thursday from 11 AM - 8 PM. This is the 6th edition of Ihab Loutfy's exhibition as he roams the pre-High Dam flooding of the Nubian heritage, inspired by its humble houses surrounded by palms on the banks of the River Nile. His paintings highlight the unique architectural style of Nubia with its use of different building materials, while other paintings are inspired by boat races. The artist uses metaphors in his paintings without distorting their meaning. He was born in Cairo, in 1976 and /holds a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts He is a member of the Fine Arts Syndicate – the Asalla Bagoury Association –The Cairo Gallery.
