The exhibition is hosted by Mashrabia and Misr galleries.

"Egypt Stereoviews: Underwood & Underwood", exhibition is organised by the gallery in cooperation with the AUC Rare Books and Special Collections Library. Stereoview (also called stereoscope or stereograph) is one of many techniques for creating or enhancing the illusion of three-dimensional depth from given two-dimensional images when viewed with stereoviewers.
This exhibition is a unique interactive experience where the viewer has the opportunity to see these historical images in 3D through a stereoviewer box and anaglyph eyeglasses (11 October-12 November).

The Handicrafts Festival celebrates the craft of copper featuring a number of professional copper artisans. The opening and the closing ceremonies will be enlivened by Al-Tanoura troupe performances. The day will also offer a lecture on the craft of copper to be delivered by professor Heba Selim with the participation of a number of artisans (Thur 22, Fri 23, Sat 24, 10am-9pm, free entrance). All art lovers whether amateurs or artists are invited to participate in painting a huge mural on the Nubian art and heritage (Sat 24, 11am-2pm, free entrance).
