Libyan Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned Sunday the murder of an Egyptian doctor and his wife in the city of Sirte last week. The ministry described the incident as an "Act of terrorism", stressing on the Libyan government's desire to apprehend the murderers and bring them to justice. Moreover, the Libyan ministry denounced the kidnap and detention of Egyptian fishermen in Misrata city who suffered from torture and abuse. Furthermore, the ministry called the international community to cooperate against terrorism and to support the Libyan government and Parliament, as well as strengthen the capability of the Libyan army in its fight against terror groups.
