DEFENDING champions Ahli are scheduled to meet Esperance of Tunisia tomorrow in the third game for each team in the African Champions League groups stage in Cairo. Ahli are top of Group B with six points after an away 1-0 victory over ASEC Abidjan and a home 2-0 victory over Hilal of Sudan. Esperance have only one point after two matches. In the same group, Hilal will host ASEC on Sunday. Hilal have three points while ASEC only one. In Group A, Etoile du Sahel of Tunisia are top with four points. They host JS Kabylie in Sousse on Saturday. AS FAR of Morocco will play against Ittihad of Libya in Morocco on the same day. Ittihad also have four points. In the African Confederations Cup, in the first game of the group stage, Ismaili play Al-Merrikh of Sudan on Sunday 22 July in Ismailia. Kwara and 2005 finalist Dolphin are in an all-Nigerian clash to round out the group.
