Tournaments Upcoming golf tournaments in Egypt: The Egyptian Golf Federation March: The annual Egyptian Open Championship for men, held since 1921, and the Nefertiti Cup for women. October to May : Men's League and Ladies League in which Cairo's six major golf clubs compete. Katameya Heights Golf and Tennis resort Members' tournament held every third Thursday of the month. It is a social event for members and non-members: each team competes in solving a quiz. April : An annual tournament in which the Katameya Heights team plays the JW Mirage team. Mirage City All clubs in Cairo and Alexandria participate in the Scratch League that takes place every month.
