Horoscopes:
Time for turnarounds
By Imhotep
The ripple effects of the Venus transit are palpably in evidence around us. Things are heating up very fast for people influenced by the Planet of Beauty and Love, turning heads and opening up new emotional vistas. Yet, Venus rotates very slowly in comparison with other planets -- a day on Venus is longer than a year on Earth. And therefore, people influenced by Venus characteristically demonstrate exceptional patience and perseverance in the face of challenge. They are especially adept at withstanding the tumults of time.
An idle mind is the devil's workshop. And people influenced by Venus instinctively know how to preoccupy themselves with meaningful pursuits. With summer in full swing, a new and more determined mood is born.
This is the time to throw off parental correctness for those people born under the Cardinal Air sign of Libra (23 Sep-23 Oct). Younger Librans now have a chance to do their own thing. This is a genuine time for liberation.
Life for Librans this June will be like a tree bursting forth with blossom. This is the time for young Librans to assert their freedom from the unpredictability of their mood- driven natures.
Librans should expect opportunities to bring more balance and harmony in their lives this June. Confusion, loneliness and self- condemnation are out, and self- confidence, vivacity and fulfilment are in.
A feeling of well-being and the expectancy of good will be all pervasive in June. Librans will, nevertheless, find themselves perusing the self-help shelves of public libraries and bookshops in the weeks ahead.
Librans often adjust with difficulty to changes. But changes are at hand for Librans this June. And, such changes will be deeply moving for themselves and others to experience. This is especially so for those Librans who feel that they have spent years wandering in dead-end roads.
Most Librans are perfectionists, and this June they will be pleasantly surprised to find a new freshness in life. Life will work itself out perfectly.
People born under the Fixed Water sign of Scorpio (24 Oct - 23 Nov) are also currently undergoing profound changes for the better in their lives.
Fixed stands for the steadfast and solid. And, Scorpions are dependable creatures. They also have the tendency to be always looking in on other people's lives.
Most Scorpions love an early night with a good book, especially novels and thrillers. But in June, Scorpions will get the chance to do some serious partying.
Anything and everything is possible for Scorpions this June. Tectonic plates will begin to shift for hardy, resolute Scorpions.
Scorpions instinctively acknowledge that existence contains suffering as well as joy, hope, courage and love. Scorpions will dwell on these questions and others about the meaning of life in June. Most importantly they shall get on with the art of living, knowing all too well that somehow people recover from even the most overwhelming shocks and challenges. Imhotep knows that these issues preoccupy Scorpions these days at a profound level.
People born under the Mutable Fire sign of Sagittarius (24 Nov - 23 Dec) enjoy experiencing the New. Mutable signs are flexible and changeable. They are often unflagging campaigners for social change, but you'll get no change out of a typical Sagittarian if you pour out a sob story.
And, the moment they get even a whiff of money, it goes. Showing a Sagittarian the line between wants and needs is a delicate business.
Sometimes the lack of self- esteem, dear Sagittarians, make overcoming your fears seem like an impossible dream. You do not have to learn to live with your doubts and fears anymore. You don't have to go to some far-off place to find happiness. Sagittarians will naturally gravitate towards healthier habits and lifestyles this June.
Look out next week for Imhotep's reading of Capricon, Aquarius and Pisces
