Horoscopes: Go with the flow

Horoscopes:
Go with the flow
By Imhotep
People born under the Cardinal Earth sign of Capricorn (22 Dec-22 Jan) are practical and prudent beings.
Capricorn is symbolised by the Sea Goat, a mythical creature, half goat and half fish -- a key indicator to the personality traits characteristic of people born under this solid Earth sign.
Imhotep foresees a challenge or two in May. Capricorns might be called upon to muster all their problem-solving skills by the end of the month. But, even when faced with a mountain of problems, they rarely succumb to self-pity, or self-doubt.
Few Sea Goats can swim for long in the soul's turbulent waters. They instinctively struggle to the shore, and pull themselves onto firm ground.
With a formidable armoury of horns, hooves, scales and fins, Sea Goats habitually hold the purse strings in family and business situations. Those strange Sea Goats who do not conform to this rule invariably have a somewhat less money-minded sign in the Ascendant.
From the middle of May to the end of June, Venus -- the planet of beauty and love -- will be in retrograde motion. The Venus transit of 8 June is the most important astrological event of 2004.
Imhotep strongly advises his readers to find out what their Moon sign is. If their Moon sign is either Taurus or Libra, both ruled by Venus, then their lives will be profoundly influenced by the Venus transit -- when the planet passes between Earth and Sun.
If your Sun sign is Capricorn, but your Moon sign is Taurus or Libra, then you are going to be pleasantly surprised by the propitious powers of the Venus transit in June. And the same goes for Aquarians and Pisceans with a Taurus or Libra Moon sign.
People born under the Fixed Air sign of Aquarius (23 Jan- 19 Feb) can be counted on to come up with original ideas. In June, Imhotep predicts, Aquarians will be justifiably proud of their ingenuity at solving a host of intractable problems.
Ruled by the outrageous planet Uranus, Water Bearers -- as Aquarians are sometimes called -- have a tendency to spend money like water.
In May, and again in June and July, Water Bearers will find good excuses to embark on shopping sprees.
Water Bearers are friendly by nature. They make loyal friends, but can be temperamental and somewhat unpredictable. Some Aquarians degenerate into pathological liars. Others are obsessive about the truth.
Aquarians are curt, some find them discourteous, but that rather irritating character trait is strangely part of their charm. Water Bearers do not tell white lies to avoid hurting their friends' feelings. They'll tell a friend what needs to be told, and not what their friend wants to hear. Still, their friends usually stick around because they know that a true Aquarian friend has their best interests at heart.
But Imhotep warns against sharply worded attacks on foes in June. You are likely, dear Aquarian, to get yourself into hot water.
People born under the Mutable Water sign of Pisces (20 Feb-21 Mar) can feel in depths that other people only dream of. For them, the main thing is love.
Pisceans are fragile, sensitive creatures. Careless and inconsiderate comments can cut them deep. Imhotep urges Pisceans not to be too touchy in June. Claim your right to be victor and not victim.
Remember, dear Piscean, that it is depressing to spend too much time reliving old joys. Save a few moments for savouring special memories, if you must. But, you must not let your sentimental nature lead you astray into a never-never land of elusive dreams.
Pisces is symbolised by two fishes swimming in opposite directions. Pisceans are generally of an exceptionally spiritual disposition. But they are also drawn to the material and mundane.
Pisceans generally get along with Cancerians, Capricorns and Sagittarians. Aquarians and Librans also harmonise well with Pisceans. But the best match for a Piscean is another pair of Fish. And, in June, the Fishes will get along swimmingly.
Look out next week for Imhotep's reading of Aries, Taurus and Gemini
