Horoscopes:
April's promise
By Imhotep
The Cardinal Earth sign of Capricorn (22 Dec-22 Jan) is symbolised by the Sea Goat, a mythical creature, half goat and half fish. Sea Goats are practical, no nonsense people. The don't defer an important decision indefinitely. But this April, they will pause for thought before making important decisions. This means you should definitely make some plans. Big plans.
It's time for you, my dear Capricorns, to mentally review all those recent applications you've received from charming prospective partners whether they're competing for your heart or a spot on your payroll.
You'll make the right decision in early May. Even if it means quitting your job, my dear Sea Goats. And, if you don't quit after all, it may turn out to be a good thing that you didn't. Just wait a few weeks.
Capricorns are proactive rather than reactive. They plan ahead. Sometimes, we know the terms of the suffering of Sea Goats but, true to character, they will not let us share it. Capricorns have seemingly pulled through tumultuous times with remarkably little psychological damage. The past few weeks have not been easy. On the face of it, nothing seems to undermine the determination and self-confidence of the Sea Goats. But, those who know the Capricorns well realise they have not emerged from the turmoil unscathed.
Press ahead, my dear Sea Goats, you are great survivors. Take heart, you are winners.
Ruled by the outrageous planet Uranus, Water Bearers, as people born under the Fixed Air sign of Aquarius (23 Jan-19 Feb) are sometimes called, are prone to intrigue. Half-formed thoughts race through the minds of people born under this maverick zodiac sign. Water-Bearers instinctively understand that love doesn't cost a thing.
Don't let the long wait for the object of your desire begin to frustrate and upset you. Love is in the air.
Indeed, for Water-Bearers, April brings back the magic into any relationship regardless of whether it is business or personal. Everything is entirely possible for Water-Bearers in the weeks ahead. All you have to do, my dear Aquarians, is to show up and be your usual sweet, charming self.
Note, however, that it may not be easy to keep the plans you've made with lovers, friends or other playmates in the weeks ahead.
Aquarians make especially good friends. Friends, however, might betray you, my dear Water-Bearers, in April. Aquarians do not tell white lies to avoid hurting their friends' feelings. They'll tell a friend what needs to be told, and not what their friend wants to hear. Still, their friends usually stick around because they know that a true Aquarian friend has their best interests at heart.
Ruled by the mysterious Neptune, Dolphins, as people born under the Mutable Water sign of Pisces (20 Feb-21 Mar) are sometimes called, you are famous for an innate ability to create romance -- to cast magic spells.
Dolphins, or Fish as Pisceans are also called, are adept at swimming in the sea of life. Your primary partner or best friend in the whole wide world, my dear Dolphins, will take a starring role in your life -- much to your delight and theirs as well.
Romance, however, is a trickier business. Even if you're totally fascinated and ready to begin an affair immediately, you really should take time and think this over carefully, my dear Dolphins.
Whatever you do, don't argue. If you do, it will take some time for the dust to settle. So don't.
Sometimes, life can seem a lot like an endless interlude. You don't have to wait for long to see the light: April shall turn out to be a month of miracles for Pisceans. And, Dolphins, will perform wonders.
Characteristically, even strangers will want to tell you their life story. Get ready to hear some astounding revelations.
