Zamalek Art Gallery is currently displaying exclusive pieces by the gallery's iconic artists. A collection of artworks that range from old to new, “Masterpieces XVI” is an exhibition that represents the essence of Zamalek Art Gallery's ethos, with a focus on contemporary Egyptian art. “Masterpieces XVI,” is a unique collective exhibition showcases paintings and sculptures by a galaxy of Egypt's late and living artists among many others are painters: Abdel-Rahman Al-Nashar, Hussein Bikar, Rabab Nemr, Gazbia Sirry, Carelle Homsy, Khaled Sorour , Souad Mardam Bey, Yasmine Al-Hazek, Goerge Fekry, sculptors: Gamal Al-Sagini, Kamal Al-Fiky, Abdel-Aziz Saab, and Mohamed Al-Fayoumy. Abdel-Rahman Al-Nashar is an artist who was distinguished in his figurative stage with his great ability to construct a painting and assemble its elements in a coherent unit that was obvious in his exclusive works, which reflect events of the time. He is able to address the general conscience and achieve the encounter between architecture and painting. His murals, too, are impressive. However, the artist turns in his new artistic phase to abstract art supported with the ability to build the painting and its composition and his skills in the treatment of colours.
