Sun 18, 1pm: A lecture to announce the launch of BA's 9th Annual Grand Reading Programme. Every year, the programme selects a novel or short story and organizes a number of different activities related to the story, to encourage readers on interactional reading. This year the programme chose a group of novellas by Writer Yehia Haqi, namely Kaan (As if), Sareq Al Kohl (The Kohl Thief), Emraa Meskina (A Poor Woman) and Al Ferash Al Faregh (The Empty Bed). The lecture will discuss the programme activities that comprise seminars, contests and workshops, including one for those with hearing and talking impairments.
