“Egypt: The Confrontation” initiative that aims at facing terrorism through art presents for free a number of concerts and theatre shows among others Al Halal produced by Al-Taliaa Theatre Company, On the Name of History features actor Mahmoud Masaoud and Madih Al Mahaba (Praising Prophet Mohamed) starring actress Sawsan Badr produced by the National Theatre Company. The closing ceremony of the event that features 500 artists will take place at the National Theatre. (Performances run from 2 to 20 January, 7pm).
Part of “Egypt: The Confrontation” initiative is a poetic-singing evening features poet Mohamed Bahgat, together with “Egyptian Singing” performance presented by the Art Creativity Centre troupe, conducted by Mohamed Baher (Sunday 15 January, 7pm).
