Egypt's Ahly and Misr Al-Maqassa secured places in the next round of the African Champions League, but Enppi was defeated. Eight-time record African champions Al Ahly qualified for the African Champions League with a late victory against Tanzania's Young Africans in the second leg match in Alexandria, after the teams drew 1-1 in Dar Al- Salaam. Egypt's Misr El-Maqasah came through a see-saw match against CS Constantine of Algeria to reserve its place in the play-offs with a 3-1 second-leg win, proceeding 3-2 on aggregate in the contender match played in Fayoum. Ghanaian national Nana Poku put Misr El Maqasah ahead with an early goal, and Mohamed Gaber doubled the lead not long after half-time. Gaber scored again, clenching a victory for El Maqasah. Constantine's Malagasy Paulin Voavy scored the visitor's sole goal. This will ensure an Egyptian presence at the play-offs in the competition won by Egypt's Al-Ahly two seasons ago. African Champions League titleholders TP Mazembe were crushed out of the African Champions League after a 3-1 aggregate loss to Wydad Casablanca. Through a late goal by Reda Hajhouj in the injury time, the Moroccans, led by former Real Madrid boss John Toshack, earned a 1-1 draw to stay in the game. Mazembe has now dropped down to the Orange CAF Confederation Cup play-offs. Meanwhile, Egyptian team Enppi which had reached the semi-finals of the 2009 Confederation Cup was eliminated despite a 2-0 victory in the first leg. Two goals by the talented Wael Farrag were not enough as Mounana of Gabon won 5-4 on penalties in the second leg to reserve his team's first play-off spot in the competition. Sagrada Esperanca of Angola ousted V Club Mokanda of Congo, while Uganda's SC Villa managed a 1-0 win at home against FUS Rabat of Morocco. But the goal was nothing more than a consolation as the Moroccans clenched a 7-1 victory on aggregate in the second leg. Another close encounter ended with Kawkab Marrakech of Morocco using home advantage to oust Mouloudia Oran of Algeria 1-0 after a goalless first leg. Moreover, the draw for the second quarter final round of the Confederation Cup was dominated by North African teams for places in the second-tier continental championship. It cleanched a hard fought 5-4 win over Zambia on Friday at the Ellis Park Indoor Arena, Johannesburg. The Pharaohs fought valiantly against the Zambians who were determined to win, but the Egyptians prevailed with a 4-1 victory. The second half began with a 3-0 lead for Egypt thanks to a hat-trick by Mostafa Mohamed before El Moatazzbillah Abdel Halim ‘Mizo', who scored the fourth at 17 minutes. Boniface Ndhlovu of Zambia pulled one back at 19 minutes to launch his team's comeback. After Egypt won the first spot, Morocco qualified for the second African spot in the FIFA Futsal World Cup Colombia 2016 after a 4-1 win over Mozambique in their semi-final face-off.
