Former Egypt managers Hassan Shehata and Shawki Gharib are yet to win a game this season in the Egyptian league after two weeks while Mido collected four points from two games, his latest point gained from an entertaining affair against Shehata's Arab Contractors. Shehata started the campaign with an extremely disappointing defeat at the hands of Dakhleya 2-0 and drew the second game against Mido's Ismaili 0-0. Gharib on the other hand suffered two straight losses with his team Al-Entag Al-Harbi with the first defeat coming against Mido 2-0 and the second at the hands of Ittihad by a single goal that came in the last minute. Mohamed Zidan who's arguably one of the best players to ever represent our country abroad, joined Al-Entag this season after more than two years away from the game and looked understandably sluggish in both games, playing 45 minutes in the first game and 51 minutes in the second. Mido will surely be pleased to collect four points from two games against huge names like his former national team coaches Shehata and Gharib. Gedo is another big name to join Gharib at Al-Entag. He came on in the second game in place of Zidan but couldn't do much either. As for the big guns, a new clash between Zamalek Club president Mortada Mansour and his Portuguese coach Jesualdo Ferreira is expected to surface very soon as the champions were held by newcomers Aswan after winning the first game against Wadi Degla 2-0. The goalless draw against Aswan will surely disappoint Zamalek's fans and Mansour who never misses a chance to criticise whoever is in charge of his team at the time of a loss, not just Ferreira. As for Ahly, their new Portuguese manager Jose Paseiro seems to be on his way to winning over angry fans who opposed his appointment after he won his first two games without conceding a goal. The first came against Al-Geish in which Abdullah Al-Said scored a wonder lob 15 minutes from time to ensure Paseiro started in the best way possible. Al-Said was on the score sheet in the second game as well as he netted from the spot kick to put his team in the driver's seat against Ghazl Al-Mahalla before captain fantastic Hossam Ghali added a second to ensure all three points were in the bag. Dakhleya and Ittihad are the only other teams to win their first two games, joining Ahly at the top of the table. Game week three promises to be extremely entertaining as Shehata and Gharib will be looking for their first wins. However, Gharib will have to do it the hard way as he'll come up against Zamalek who themselves will be looking to get back to winning ways after Aswan's stalemate. As for Shehata he'll come up against high flying Ittihad knowing his players will have to be at their very best to collect maximum points. Mido's Ismaili will have to dig deep as well as they'll face another high flying team in the form of Dakhleya who won both games without conceding a goal. Former national team coach Ahmed Hassan, who joined Petrojet this season in a player/coach role, will face former team Ahly, hoping to cause an upset after losing his first game and winning the second. Former Zamalek star Shikabala is playing in yellow this season as he joined Mido in the Canal on loan from Zamalek for one season because there was no place for him on the White Knights. Can Shehata and Gharib notch their first wins? Can Zidan and Gedo score their first goals for their new club against Zamalek? Can Mido continue his good start to the season with a win over Dakhleya? Can Paseiro move a step closer to making peace with Ahly fans? Can Hassan put one over his former team and Egyptian giants Ahly? The questions ensure that week three will be thrilling.
