Contemporary Image Collective (CIC) 22 Abdel Khalek Tharwat St, 4th Floor, Downtown, Cairo, Tel 2396 4272 "Roznama 4 Open Call", a visual arts competition and exhibition for young Egyptian artists under the age of 30 initiated by Medrar. This year Roznama 4 is organised collaboratively by Medrar and CIC. Roznama 4 offers a wide range of prizes and includes exhibitions with all the works selected for the second round in both spaces (until the end of September).
Darb 1718 Kasr El Sham3 Street, Al Fakhareen, Old Cairo, near Mar Girgis Metro Station, Tel 2361 0511 "Classic Egyptian Movie Posters", exhibition holds hand-painted reproductions of vintage movie posters from the 60's and contemporary interpretations of classic Egyptian movies using various media: photography, digital art, collage and acrylic.
