Parallel Life stems from the artist's interest for insects and their behaviour, which has been accompanying him since childhood. Abdallah cut the iron in precise geometric shapes resembling an abstract representation of the animals. Their bodily features are rendered through the contrast between heaviness and fragility, stillness and dynamism in an innovative exploration of this parallel world (Closing 23 April).
