Russian President Vladimir Putin will visit the Arab Republic of Egypt on February 9 and 10 at the invitation of President Abdel-Fattah Al-Sisi. The two presidents will discuss ways to advance bilateral relations, in addition to regional and international issues of mutual concern. They will also exchange views regarding the developments in the Middle East, the situations in Syria and Libya and how to push forward the peace process between the Palestinians and Israelis. The visit will be President Putin's first to Egypt in ten years and follows the meeting the presidents held in the Black Sea resort of Sochi, Russia, in August 2014.
